In May of 1966, The Arc of Vigo County began its mission of supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Since then, the agency has remained committed to that mission by becoming a leading provider of community, home and employment services not only in Vigo County, but throughout the Wabash Valley.

We are excited to announce that on September 6, 2022, we became The Arc of the Wabash Valley, reflecting our regional presence and ability to serve individuals with disabilities in Vigo, Clay, Parke, Putnam, Vermillion and Fountain counties.

While our name has changed, our commitment to those we serve will remain at the heart of all we do and we look forward to supporting all individuals with disabilities throughout the Wabash Valley.
